Make Your Own Bagged Salad And Avoid Preservatives

With bathing suit season right around the corner, I’m sure there are a lot of people eating salads to get ready for the warmer weather, so I thought this might be a great time to repost my very first Simple SolutionsDiva.com video, how to Make Your Own Bagged Salad.  Bagged salads at the store are so easy, but they do have to use preservatives to keep the salad fresh until you buy it.  This is a great way to avoid the preservatives and still have the convenience of bagged salad ready to eat in the fridge!

Gardeners Rejoice!

Gardeners Rejoice!  You may not know this, but when you buy a plant and pot from Lowe’s Home Improvement Centers, many of the Lowe’s have a station in the greenhouse where you can repot your new plant into the pot, right there!  They even keep a pile of potting soil under the station for easy access if you need more soil to repot.  Or you can choose to purchase potting soil to use.

Either way, it is a convenience that is hard to pass up!  This free service from Lowe’s keeps dirt out of your home and keeps it at Lowe’s where it belongs.  Thanks, Lowe’s!
